Situation (internal):
A Fortune 100 company has an extensive diversity program
although employee awareness is low and needs to be
improved. Employee awareness is considered important
to realizing the full benefits of the strategy, to
morale, and to the employees being effective
“ambassadors”.
Solution:
A plan was developed for frequent and periodic communications
through various media about success stories, process changes,
and available information and tools.
Outcome:
Increased awareness of the extent of the company’s
steadfast commitment to diversity, the ways in which diversity
and inclusion were integrated into the business, and the
information and tools that were available. |
